THE STORY:

We should stop chasing the bubble. When you think about it, it’s nothing but temporary spherical air. The bubble is ephemeral, and if by chance we should catch it, reach out and touch it, it vanishes.  And then where are we?

Everyone has their own bubble, their own evanescent enthusiasms...but trouble lies when it is pursued at the expense of all else.  Especially when that bubble is to one’s detriment, or is leading us away from who we truly are.

Trouble is, it’s hard not to chase the bubble.  Look at it - so floaty, so shiny.  Why is this artwork in an exhibition about the Peregrine Man?  I chased the bubble.
